Presenting at Sydney Xplore Festival over Easter

Hi E/everyone!

After I jet back into the country from San Francisco I'll be looking forward to the next thing on My dancecard - presenting two workshops at the Sydney Xplore Festival this Easter!

Click thru here to go to the Xplore site...

If you haven't heard about this benchmark festival, here's a couple of words from the it's convenor, Dr Peter Banki;

"Xplore is a three-day event on creative sexuality, BDSM, tantra, ritual and other body practices. Delve into new found pleasures by joining us.

Xplore offers more than 40 workshops and performances, bringing together a highly developed interest in the body and different aspects and variations of sexuality.

Xplore is hosted by international and local presenters, most of whom are professional artists, dancers, choreographers and/or scholars. There will be workshops with Hajime Kinoko, (one of the world's most dazzling Shibari artists), Tristan Taormino (best-selling author, sex educator and feminist pornographer) and Annetta Luce (dancer, choreographer extraordinaire). The festival culminates in all night Berlin-style party called "The Aristocracy of Desire".

Xplore presents workshops which will give you the chance to have new experiences, rather than only discussions or demonstrations. These experiences are as varied as sexuality itself. Some are therapeutic in nature, some emerge from aesthetic intentions, others are spiritual quests or searches for the borderline. Their common ground is playfulness, communication, creativity and expansion beyond traditional relationships. They represent a different sexual culture.

Above all, Xplore wishes to bring together those who think and love unconventionally. To share and to learn."

I missed the inagural festival last year due to prior commitments but this time, going on the success of last year, I was happy to offer My skills to the community!

I'm presenting workshops on "CBT: women on men", and "Latex: The initiation"! I'm really looking forward to the rubber workshop as I have not presented it before and am VERY eager (as you may imagine) to impart some of My love of latex to the workshop attendants!

I'm personally really looking forward to reacquainting with a certain person from Japan too - the really cool and immensely talented Kinoko Hajime! I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of his workshops in Melbourne and look forward to downing tools and rocking up to his workshops as a student! I'm sure I'll see him do some amazing things! Above is a taste of his truly unique rope style...

After I return from Japan - see My next blog posting, I'll be covering the festival for Tony Mitchell's "thefetishistas.com" too! I'll look forward to informing the rest of the kink world on yet another amazing happening down here in Sydney town. Stay tuned, I'll let you know when we publish the article.

I hope some of those who I'm familiar with in a professional session context can make it to what should be an amazing experience!

Best,

MT

I've been awarded "Sydney Ms Leather 2012"!

Hi E/everyone!

Something very special happened last Sunday 19th Feb… If one would ever want "the nod" from the local community, one would surely respect the title I've been honoured with...

I have been awarded "Sydney Ms Leather 2012"!

Sydney Ms Leather & Sydney Mr Leather 2012, shot by Rod Spark

I'm so honoured to have been recognized in this way by My local community! It was such a surprise to receive this award after spending only a few years in the Sydney community. I look forward to representing our diverse GLBTIQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer) Leather community and assisting in any way I can to contribute in the capacity of My role.

I had no expectations when competing and was simply proud to stand next to other people I've such respect for, consider as mentors and am blessed to call friends - forget being chosen from amongst them as a representative.

The competition was a day long contest with contestants appearing in front of a panel of six judges from Sydney Leather Pride Association (SLPA), Dykes on Bikes (DOB), The Oxford Hotel, the reigning "Mr Leather Australia & NZ", et al. Both male and female contestants strutted their stuff for a chance to win the title.

Check the shots of all of us in our finest!

We had to appear in a choice of three leather outfits - casual, cruise wear and formal. We answered random questions, asked to described our ultimate sexual fantasy and make a short speech about a topic of our choice. I wore My favourite laced on leather jeans and vintage hobnail boots, full military leathers complete with jodhpurs, equestrian boots and Airforce cap, then finally custom-made corsetry, custom made gloves, Muir cap, 9" heel LSB custom made boots with Spanish black steel spurs!

The most daunting component of My role is surely traveling to San Fran at the end of March to represent Australia at "International Ms Leather 2012". I will be the FIRST EVER woman sent from Australia to attend an international fetish competition of this ilk. Wow!

Click thru to view the IMsL website...

I'll keep you updated here of My progress towards SF! I now need to prepare Myself for the contest where I'll strut, answer questions ad libitum, make a speech AND also act out My ultimate sexual fantasy on stage in 4mins. (!!!) Quite a tall order after a 20hr intercontinental flight! I shudder at the thought of the overweight baggage I'll be carrying! ;)

I'd like to personally congratulate each of the other competitors in the women's heat, including Angie Demaskau and Ana Wojek who took 1st runner up and 2nd runner up respectively. Looking at the field of competitors, we'd have been well represented in San Fran and locally throughout the year, regardless of who actually took home the title! Well done also to the fab Dick Savvy who took out the title of "Sydney Mr Leather".

One thing beyond doubt it the amazing amount of effort that went into organising this event. I'd personally like to congratulate Sydney Leather Pride Association, Dykes on Bikes, The Oxford Hotel and all our judges for the event in staging and sponsoring the competition. The turn out from the public was overwhelming too, with The Oxford Hotel literally packed out! Thanks to all who turned up in leather, rubber or other to the event.

Check out the write up in the Sydney Star Observer here...

I'd also like to thank My sponsor Eagle Leather for supporting Me in the international competition in SF! Cheers boys!

I'll look forward to stepping to the challenges of My role over the next year in effort to give back some of what I've received from My community in Sydney. Thank you!

My very best, always!

I'm in German magazine "Heavy Rubber" #30!

Let Me tell you something I'm REALLY excited about!

I have finally gotten My latex-clad ass published in Germany's "Heavy Rubber" magazine!

Buy your copy of Heavy Rubber #30 here!

This shot is from the e-list mailout preview for the new magazine. That's Me on the bottom left… ;)

There are only a couple of magazines on this ever-decreasing-in-size planet that focus on latex and on hot women wearing latex. One of the most influential, glamourous and darn sexiest is Peter Czernich's "Heavy Rubber", as part of the "Marquis" fetish empire, based in Germany.

Click thru here to the Heavy Rubber site...

Most people in Australia mightn't be familiar with this magazine as there is little circulation down here! "Heavy Rubber" is a premier fetish magazine in Europe, UK and USA. That's why I'm even more stoked to be included in the publication, as being somewhat landlocked in OZ can cramp one's style when trying to spread the word of your virtues in the fetish world! (Thank G_d for the internet…)

The original shot of Me in Heavy Rubber!

I had an email from Peter last week with a request to use a shot of Me by Luke Messerer from Soul Focus Studio in his next issue #30. So, there I am in all My transparent rubber glory with My fabulous Carrara chrome medical neck brace, dental gag, patent leather corset and inflatable megatits! you'll recognize the upstairs shower in My studio? Well, gosh now THAT'S famous in Europe too! lol :D

Click on the banner to go thru to Marquis!

I'll look forward to collaborating in the future with "Marquis" and "Heavy Rubber", as Luke and I are always up for more shoots! As I said to Peter "our philosophy is the heavier the better!" Stay tuned, rubber people!

Want a copy of Me in "Heavy Rubber"? Click on the big preview picture from the mag and it'll take you to the Marquis webstore! I've already ordered two..!

Best ever in rubber!!!
