Shots of My Show "Sado" at Sydney Sexpo

As promised - photos from My HUGE show at Sydney Sexpo 2018!

Yes, there are many shots - but please bear with Me - as there were SO MANY moments to catch, and SO MUCH beauty in literally the BEST show I've ever done!

We won't get too many chances to perform on another rig like this so we really wanted as much capture as possible!

So many venues in Sydney and Melbourne are not high enough. For example, just today we were working out how to bring this to Oz Kink Fest in Melbourne in September, but hung from a 4000mm high tri-truss! (Wish us luck!)

It was the most challenging show for Me yet because I've not done much aerial work before, forget just simply being on the end of the ropes!

As you can imagine, I've mainly been the person DOING the tying - as opposed to receiving rope.

It was a great seachange.

Additionally, I'd offered to Paloma many moons ago that I'd love to teach her a little of bondage, so that she could tie Me in a show.

She's also been slowly grooming Me with more and more aerials content in our progressive shows...

THIS in itself is truly an ARTISTIC BENCHMARK.

Normatively in shibari performance across the world, you'd expect a rigger to tie a rope bottom.

In "Sado" not only do you have a bottom being tied, but also tying rope themself - AND tying the rigger! (PS. I'd NEVER call Paloma a bottom!!)

We wished to created this sense of mirroring in our actions, but also in debunking the traditional role of Top and bottom in BDSM, challenging female roles as bottoms, while creating a technical watershed of a performance.

THIS is what I'm excited about.

Paloma and I wanted to create images that looked like we were mirroring each other, both in action and in attention.

We wanted a sense of connection and intimacy - even if we were at opposite ends of the apparatus.

We wanted the performance overall to look stylish and have a certain elan, while still showing our raw passion for what we do.

I'm REALLY proud to say that we both feel we've achieved all these things. 

It was Paloma's idea to use a costume I'd recently designed and worn for another event, and it just looked fabulous.

The strong black calligraphic mark strikes against our pale skin, covered only in transparent latex! Paired with our similar distinctive hairstyles, we really do make a distinctive performing couple!

He shot these beautiful images and we are so very lucky (and privileged) to be able to benefit from his exceptional skill and talent!

We'll perform "Sado" again at Oz Kink Fest in Melbourne in September, and then we'll look for any opportunity to show it again around Australia - or maybe even further afield!

Sydney Sexpo 2018 Fetish Room Wrap Up

PHEW! Sydney Sexpo is over for another year in 2018 and I've only just recovered Myself from the huge outlay of energy...

I convened the Fetish Room where Myself, Mistress Electra Amore and Avalon from Avalon's Rope Dojo presented 35 workshops on a diversity of topics for the unsuspecting public!

I also presented My most significant show yet - "Sado" - with My illustrious co-performer and partner in crime, Paloma Negra from Paloma Negra Theatre.

We really cracked our ouerve this time, with a show that was ground breaking (again) for shibari x trapeze, the first of it's kind!

We had apparatus made especially for the show, and I hope we can take it South to Melbourne for Oz Kink Fest in September!

I'd like to thank Sexpo for asking Me back for yet another year, as producer of the Fetish Room.

Most definitely, I love doing Sexpo specifically because I get to ensure those with an interest in Kink have an excellent first contact with the scene, and with safe sane and consensual play.

I am proud to say that I was really on message this year, more than ever before, and have most certainly succeeded Myself again with My show efforts! Yes!

Producer, Sexpo Fetish Room 2018 - again!

Yes, it's that time of year again in Sydney...

I've been asked to host the Sexpo Fetish Playroom again for 2018, and it was My pleasure to say yes!

I've been the producer of the Fetish Room in Sydney since it's inception back in 2014. How it's seriously grown in what we offer, as well as the growing interest in kink from the wider, non-fet community.

This year, I've assembled a Dream Team to offer education and demos in the FR. 

I'm personally providing 15 workshops on a diversity of topics such as Flogging, Spanking and Bondage.

I'll also be doing 2 HUGE Main Stage Shows on the Friday and Sunday!

I've also asked incredibly experienced and diverse Pro Domme and kink educator, Mystress Electra Amore to host half of the educational workshops with Me.

She is a Senior Mistress to Me in the Australian BDSM scene, so I'm REALLY looking forward to sitting in on Her workshops!

I've also asked the wonderful Avalon from Avalon's Rope Dojo Melbourne to share his entrancing shibari skills and provide bondage shows for us.

All up, there are over 35 workshops in the Fetish Room, so please do come check us out and say hi!

Another thing that REALLY excites Me, is that Paloma Negra from Paloma Negra Theatre and I have been working on another HUGE Aerials X Shibari show!

If you remember our last HUGE show, "Hera", first shown at Sexpo 2016, you'll already know we break the rules of kinbaku and BDSM, while indulging our own kinks! 

We have created our own unique oeuvre of Shibari X Trapeze.

Now, we've had equipment built JUST for our ideas and we have become UNSTOPPABLE!

The GREAT NEWS for you is we're premiering it Friday night, with a repeat on Sunday!

Above and below are screen shots from "Hera". We were immensely proud of the show and still credit it as our signature piece, although I think with this new show, "Sado", we have a new contender for that crown...

Come see us on the Main Stage 8pm Friday and 245pm Sunday.

 

Sexpo starts this Thursday from 1600 and runs thru full days until Sunday night.
